FICP Raises $50,306 for Junior Achievement®

PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS – Meeting planners and hospitality partners at the 2015
Financial & Insurance Conference Planners (FICP) Annual Conference donated
$50,306.90 to Junior Achievement® Worldwide and Junior Achievement® Bahamas.
Contributions were raised through the FICP Annual Conference Silent Auction.
In 2012, FICP announced Junior Achievement (JA) as its long-term philanthropic
partner. This year, in keeping with FICP's dedicated philanthropic efforts, proceeds of
the silent auction benefited Junior Achievement Worldwide and Junior Achievement
Bahamas. The auction provides a way for conference attendees to take an active role in
making a difference in the communities that support their business by donating and
bidding on items.

FICP Immediate Past Chair and 2015 Annual Conference Chair Jana Stern, along with
FICP Board of Directors Chair Shelia Cleary, Silent Auction Committee Chair Julie
Holmen and Hospitality Partner Advisory Committee Chairperson Kevin Regan
presented the donation to Philip Simon, Executive Director, Junior Achievement
Bahamas before a crowd of close to 600 conference attendees.
