October 2015

The Fall Symposium was a great success and we thank everyone who was able to join us in Santa Barbara. Take a look back at the event by viewing our Fall Symposium Flickr album.

The Annual Conference is next, and we're looking forward to spending time with attendees at the stunning Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. Planner registration is still open, register here. You must be registered and provide your passport information by November 6 in order to participate in the Cruise Ship Experience.

If you’re already signed up to join us, be sure to spend some time this week reviewing the process emails you’ve received regarding the pre-keynote survey,  The Network – Live appointments and passport information.

The FICP Annual Conference is Coming Up Fast

The FICP Annual Conference takes place November 15-18 at Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. Attendees can look forward to a unique cruise ship experience, as well as a wide array of networking opportunities. Take a look at the Advance Program for a detailed schedule.

There is still time to help FICP support Junior Achievement® by bidding in the silent auction online or in the mobile app, regardless of whether you will be on site. Items include amazing travel packages from around the world, an autographed Magic Johnson jersey and more! The auction closes Tuesday, November 17, so get your bids in now!

  1. New Users: Register as a bidder by visiting the silent auction website and clicking the 'Register to Bid' link in the upper right-hand corner. The login is silent auction specific, so you will not be able to log in using your FICP username and password.
  2. When placing your first bid, choose the 'Add Credit Card' option, found next to the credit card image. Upon successfully entering your information, choose 'Return to Item' to place your bid.
  3. All participants receive alerts when they have been outbid, including the username* of the person who has placed the higher bid.
*If you would like to bid anonymously, simply make sure your username is non-specific.

IMEX America Recap

FICP is back from another great IMEX event. The 2015 IMEX America welcomed more than 10,600 individuals and 3,100 different companies, making it the largest meetings industry trade show in the United States. The FICP booth provided a centralized location for lively conversations with current and prospective members, while also serving as a presence for the financial and insurance industry. As an added bonus, planner members and hospitality partners that stopped by the booth received a professional headshot for their personal use.
