Did you Know?
July is here! Between Canada Day and Independence Day, most of our community kicked off the month with (socially distanced) barbeques, beach days, and fireworks. While Canada wasn't completely independent of England until 1982, on July 1, 1867 the Constitution Act joined the three provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Canada province, marking the beginning of the nation. In the United States, July 4 also symbolizes the country's independence from Britain, celebrating the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Leona Balthazar, Vice President of Sales at Island Partners Hawai'i
“Being a FICP Strategic Partnership allows complete, high level, year-round exposure and networking opportunities with the leading decision makers and trend setters, enabling us to share best practices and stay ahead of emerging trends. The equity of association and privileged partnership in a forum where our voice and opinions are sought and acknowledged is very much appreciated. Knowing the relationship between Members and Strategic Partners is created by a culture of inclusion, shared knowledge and equivalent value is inspiring. The Hawaiian proverb “One Succeeds, All Succeed” has been apparent throughout our association, and clearly defines the partnership we experience. During every FICP Education Forum and Annual Conference, past clients of Island Partners Hawai‘i continue to introduce me to planners who have future Hawai‘i program opportunities. (Insurance and Financial Services business is now the largest percentage of Island Partners Hawai‘i revenue). Our return on investment has been optimized multi-fold from the very beginning of our relationship.”
