Did You Know?
As August comes to a close, and summer winds down, it's only fitting that National Beach Day is August 30! Established in 2014 by Colleen Paige, this holiday serves two purposes- to remind us to soak up the last bit of summer and, more importantly, to be cognizant and respectful of beach property. Every year, millions of animals die from trash and pollution left by beachgoers. Make the commitment to leave no trace behind, and be proactive by picking up trash other beach goers may have left.
