Did You Know?
During the holidays, it's likely you'll encounter the signature red-and-white-striped candy known as a candy cane. The earliest forms of candy canes were believed to be a white sugar stick used by parents as pacifiers to calm babies in the 1600s. The treat took its iconic shape from shepherd's crooks to amuse children during Christmas mass in the 17th century. Alternatively, it is also thought that this shape was invented to make the candy easier to hang on Christmas trees. Today, nearly two billion candy canes are made every year. "The Broadmoor has a long-standing relationship with FICP, and what stands out is the strength of the relationships we have built over the years with our FICP meeting planner professionals. These bonds stretch beyond our working environment and have reached a personal level. We could not have achieved such strong bonds with clients who we respect on a professional and personal level if we were not involved with FICP."

"AZA became a hospitality partner of FICP 15 years ago. AZA is proud to be aligned as a hospitality partner of a prestigious association. We highly embrace the mindset of what you invest in an organization is what you will get in return. The more involvement and contributions to FICP as a hospitality partner, will continue the growth and development of the organization. When the opportunity became available to AZA Events four years ago as a Strategic Partnership, it was an easy decision to become fully invested and on-board. This opportunity has afforded AZA to stay involved in a leading organization through stellar education, building incredible strategic relationships, understanding the trends of the industry and meeting planners needs to create successful programs. AZA is extremely proud to be a Strategic Partner of FICP!"
