Did you know?
Mother's Day wasn't always about showering Mom with gifts and appreciation. In fact, it was originally a movement started by three women, Ann Reeves Jarvis, Julia Ward Howe and Ann’s daughter, Anna M. Jarvis. Each woman had a different version of what Mother's Day meant, but the common theme was promoting peace and community in the wake of war. After the passing of her mother, Anna M. Jarvis campaigned for a day honoring all mothers as a way to memorialize her mom's life-long commitment to activism. Learn more about the history surrounding Mother’s Day.

In accordance with FICP Bylaws, FICP meetings professionals may also remain members for six months during transitions as well. Make sure you update your contact information by logging into your FICP account so that FICP and our members and partners may continue to contact you, and help spread the word to those who may be unaware of these opportunities.
